About

Hi, I'm Rachel Andras, and it looks like I’ve officially added "maker" to my list of life titles! Other life titles include wife, Mom, fly fishing instructor, health coach, and educator. I’m having an absolute blast bringing my creative ideas to life—whether I’m hunting for scrap wood, working in the woodshop, or designing in Adobe Illustrator. The best part? Using a laser cutter to turn those designs into reality. Every minute of this creative journey has been an absolute joy, and I’m excited to see where it takes me next!

A Year Ago, I Joined a Makerspace That Changed Everything
I found myself working in an inspiring space that sparked my creativity and unleashed the full potential of my frontal cortex (yes, the creative one!). The clean, organized environment was a game-changer—it pushed me to set aside excuses and explore all the exciting possibilities.

A Tribute to My Mom & Our Favorite Tradition
Losing my sweet mama a few years ago left a big hole in my heart, but one of our favorite things to do together was send each other "surcee gifts"—mostly earrings. They were small, thoughtful treats that traveled well, made you smile, and helped you stand a little taller. To me, everything in life is a gift, whether it’s the good, the challenging, or even the clunky moments. I see them as opportunities for growth and learning. Adopting a growth mindset has given me the courage to dive into new things with the mantra: "I am a beginner, and that's okay!"

Creating with Purpose: Salvaged Wood, Upcycled Jewelry & More
Driven by a passion for sustainability, I’m committed to using reclaimed materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are both stylish and eco-conscious. From salvaged wood to upcycled jewelry, I embrace the Zero Waste Movement by reducing the need for newly manufactured products. Each creation is a unique blend of creativity and environmental responsibility, and I’m proud to contribute to a greener, more sustainable world—one piece at a time.
